Lake Kolsai and Kaindy National Park

The Kolsai Lakes National Park is the most popular tourist destination in the Almaty region. This is a system of lakes, consisting of a three-level cascade of Kolsai lakes and a separate lake Kaindy. Therefore, we put this tour as one of the first, it includes impressions of the region's natural heritage and cultural richness.

In one day you will see the desert steppes and climb up to the mountain glaciers. You will change several climatic zones, which means that the temperature amplitude will vary from +10 to +35 degrees in one day.

The program includes visits to such attractions as the Charny Canyon National Park, including the observation deck of the Black Canyon and the Yellow Canyon, as well as the national parks of Lake Kolsai and Lake Kaindy.

The tour starts at the hotel. Early in the morning you will meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel or apartment in Almaty city.

The guide will tell you about the trip plan, check the availability of the necessary things, give an introductory briefing and take you to the car on which you will go on a private jeep tour.

I would like to note that all our guides are young guys, certified specialists and professionals in their field. The transport on which you will go on a trip is a powerful, reliable, well-prepared off-road vehicle.

While you will travel outside the city, the guide will tell you the history of the country, region and historical data about the city of Almaty.

Most of the way will pass along the picturesque highway along the Tien Shan mountain range.

There will be sanitary stops along the way and a coffee break if needed.

Three hours later you will arrive at the Charyn Canyon National Park.

You will go down deep into the canyon, to the river, on foot or by eco-taxi - your choice. During your walk in the canyon, the guide will set the table with lunch in a wooden gazebo, overlooking the large, turbulent and cool Charyn River.

After lunch and a short rest, having gathered, you will go up to the SUV, on foot or by eco-taxi to choose from.

The first day is very busy and you will continue on to the next natural attraction.

Next stop is Black Canyon. This is the rocky beginning of the deep depression of the Charyn Canyon. The impressive color and depth of the sheer cliffs are breathtaking so that it is scary to approach the edge of the canyon. Enough time to take photos and enjoy the view and you will continue your journey.

After three hours of driving along mountain asphalt roads, you will arrive in the village of Saty. This is the regional center, the main tourist settlement of the national park, where most of the hotels and guest houses are concentrated.

Depending on the accommodation option you have chosen, you will be assisted with check-in and invited to dinner after your stay. In the evening, a bonfire, a sauna, a walk around the village or just relaxation in the form you want is possible.

After breakfast, the program of the second day includes a visit to Lake Kolsai 1 before lunch and Lake Kaindy in the afternoon.

During your stay at Lake Kolsai 1, you will have the opportunity to ride horses, swim on the lake in a boat or catamaran, walk around the lake on foot and enjoy the beauty of the turquoise color of the water.

After lunch, you will go to the unique Kaindy Lake, where the trees of the Tien Shan spruce majestically rise from the blue water.

During your stay on the lake, you will have the opportunity to make a horseback tour to Lake Kaindy or walk to the lake on foot and enjoy the beauty of the gorge.

After relaxing on the lakes, you will be comfortably delivered to the city of Almaty.
